Shower Problems in Cammeray
Tara forced herself to relax as she walked through her front door. Her dog, Tilly, bounded towards her and licked Tara’s leg. Tara smiled and bent down to scratch Tilly’s back. She looked down at herself and caught sight of paint marks across her arms. Her shirt was also splattered with an unknown substance. “I’d better take a shower,” she said. Tilly tilted her head in response.
Tara stepped towards the shower and turned it on. A few seconds later, Tara noticed that there didn’t seem to be enough water flowing out of the shower head. She tried to add more water but it appeared it had reached its limit. There’s no way I can have a shower in that, she thought. She looked at the shower head and noticed a significant amount of scaling on the shower head. Maybe that has something to do with it, she thought.
She decided to enquire about it to her local plumber. She had dealt with him a few times in the past and he always told her not to hesitate to ring about any plumbing concerns. She decided to take him up on that offer and went to retrieve his business card. Tara looked at the back and saw that he provided assistance in Cammeray and also the neighbouring suburbs of Neutral Bay, Cremorne, Northbridge, Crows Nest, North Syndey, Wolstonecroft and Waverton. He must be a very busy guy, she thought, and didn’t like her chances of him being able to help anytime soon. However, she thought there was no harm in trying.
When she dialled, the phone was answered instantly by a helpful plumbing assistant. She described her shower situation and asked when someone would be free to take a look at it. She couldn’t believe her eyes when she found out that her plumber was scheduled to arrive in an hour.
A short period of time passed and Tara noticed a tapping at the front door. She assumed it was David so she yelled out that the door was unlocked. She turned around and got a shock when she saw the plumber standing behind her. “Oh you scared me! I thought it was David at the door!” She exclaimed. She didn’t expect him to arrive so soon. The plumber apologised for startling her and asked how he could help. Tara directed him to the plumbing problem and he took out a variety of equipment to deal with the problem.
Half an hour later, her plumber reappeared and advised her that her shower was back in full working condition. He informed her that the lack of water was due to scale build up, which he had cleared. Tara was thrilled to see her shower was back to its old self. She thanked him for coming to her aid, at the last minute. He replied that she was more than welcome and was happy to help.
